Do you or your loved one have severe depression that is not improving despite treatment?
New Hope Molecular provides neurometabolic testing for patients struggling with treatment refractory depression and suicidal ideation.
We are currently looking for individuals who:
-Are currently experiencing depression that is treatment resistant. Depression is considered treatment resistant if there have been 3 failed treatment trials consisting of either medication or therapy.
-Are 14 to 65 years of age.
We provide testing to uncover unidentified contributors to depression.
Participation involves travel to Pittsburgh and assessment and testing over a three day period. Participants are asked to complete an assessment interview and to give blood, urine, and cerebrospinal fluid samples.
Cerebrospinal fluid is a clear colorless fluid that is continuously produced and absorbed and that flows around the surface of the brain and spinal cord.
